You may wonder why we haven't had a monthly contest in a while. I would like to restart them, but we need people to participate. If you chop or draw, I encourage you to enter the contests. We are not mean and won't make fun of your art work. Don't be afraid to enter! I am gonna make a theme for January when we get there to try it out and see how many people we get.

I am in, as long as it isn't limited to Chevy only and if the dead brands(Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and others) are allowed.

Remember, were not a GM site. Any brands are OK as far as I know.

You can even make up brands.

So, when will the sketch contest be up? I may try to enter again in a long time. There are couple going on over in my P.E.T. Pontiac site, but since no-one is participating, well.......

I should have the contest up on January 1st-3rd.

Well GP, my idea was stolen by GMI when AJ changed the theme over there. So I'm trying to come up with something else.

F***ing bastards. One reason that I left the site. Bunch of Chevy boys who does nothing but chewing down other brands and steals whatever that looks to be good.

Maybe we should put up a suggestion thread. I do have couple of ideas however.

Let's hear them.

Heres couple of my ideas, but since GMI stole the idea of the theme, we might as well steal theirs as well. It's only fair. We can steal their contest suggestions, and if they ever put out any good themes, we can steal that and use it here as well.

My ideas are:

- Create an iconic car that will boost or repair the brands image. Wether it be a high performance sports car(Pontiac, and others), Large Luxurious Family Sedan(Buick, Lincoln, Cadillac and others) and so and so.

- Create a car that is a truly a world project. Using designs/engine/parts/components from the manufacturers from US, Canada, Japan, China, Korea, Austrailia, Germany, Sweden and others, mix it all and modify them to make the unique looking, and modern car to really make an impact.

- Resurrect any dead brand and create a car that will secure its image and that is a true game changer to live up it's legend and name.

I have more, but if the suggestion thread do gets up, I will list them there.
