My dad had his Trailblazer in the shop this weekend for repairs so they gave an HHR as the loaner. It's a decent little car except the colo, fire engine red, didn't do it any justice. The seats are stiff but not uncomfortable. The dashboard uses a lot of hard plastic and the door panels appear to be an afterthought as the hole cut for the lock stem seems cheap. The dash guages look awesome and very retro and the engine is a peppy little 4 banger. There are some blindspots and the windshield is cut low, but those are ok after some getting used to. All in all, it's a decent little car for those who need to haul something but don't need AWD and want better F/E.

Seems fair. I always like the way the SS looks exterior and interior better though. I wonder if the seats and what not are more live-able in the SS.

Maybe, but this was also a rental from Enterprise, so that might explain some of it.

Seems in line with what I thought of our HHR from Budget...
